After breakfast, we flew to Chiang Mai, Thailand.
We walked around Chiang Mai this afternoon. We discovered an open air restaurant right next to our hotel that serves fresh, meals for 35 baht ($1.10). We went back for dinner, it was so good.
In the evening there is a part of the city that turns into "night market". On our way there we passed this temple. It isn't a great picture, but it was taken through the fence and you can see a vender's kiosk with Coca-Cola written on it, to the left of the main door.
At the night market there are hundreds of stalls and vendors. Most of them are selling items that are knock-offs, but there were craftsman there also. This women is carving soap, coloring it and placing the "flowers" in wooden boxes. The other man makes insects from dyed palm fronds. Most were life size. When we go back, I will try to get a better picture of his creations.
